Chloroprene-coated fabric, without the solvent
A waterborne, solvent-free chloroprene system for cloth that has to flex at −40°F and stop a flame.
Chloroprene (neoprene) is the rubber MIL-C-20696 Class 1 and Class 3 call for. It's the right choice when coated cloth has to fold at −40°F and still meet a flame test.
We aren't shipping chloroprene-coated fabric right now. We're developing a waterborne chloroprene system with no solvent, engineered toward the same cold, flame and hydrostatic requirements, with 2027 as the target.
If your program needs chloroprene-coated cloth, send us the spec, the yardage and the timing. We'll add you to the program list and keep you posted as the work moves.

Questions buyers ask
Can I order neoprene-coated fabric today?
Not yet. The waterborne system is in development for 2027. Send a request to join the program list.
Does waterborne chloroprene still meet a spec that says chloroprene?
MIL-C-20696E asks for chloroprene rubber, and a waterborne chloroprene latex is chloroprene rubber. Each spec's performance tests still have to be met, and we'll confirm against your callout.
Spec summaries are for orientation only. The current revision in your contract governs. Send your type, class and drawing and we'll confirm fit, testing and paperwork before we quote.
